The breakfast spread was top-notch, featuring fresh produce and delightful homemade jams that were a revelation. Plus, I can't forget the inviting garden room, which was perfect for unwinding. Close to The Cheviot Hotel, a 10-minute stroll got me to seriously good grub!
It was all perfect—nothing I didn't like!

i was absolutely disgusted by the small bathroom sink—it's like they want you to struggle. and oh, the rain shower? way too much drama, just give me a removable one. also, where was my complimentary champagne for the inconvenience? i almost gave a good review, but then. i just couldn’t.

The warm welcome with tea and cake immediately made me feel at home. Each breakfast option was a treat, especially the homemade jams that added a delightful touch. I appreciated the quality of the cooked breakfast, presented beautifully. The room offered a comfortable bed and a cozy sitting area, with thoughtful tea and coffee facilities. the entry to the property felt a bit narrow for larger vehicles, and it might be easy to miss the driveway. Still, the inviting conservatory provided a lovely space to relax. If only I could have stayed longer than one night!

The warm and inviting conservatory was a delightful retreat.
I struggled with the difficult-to-find entrance drive. it was incredibly frustrating. After having to turn around multiple times, I arrived feeling stressed rather than relaxed. It was disappointing not to have clear signage or assistance in locating the B&B.
